I started this ongoing project on the city of Rome when I was commissioned to shoot the city for the Japanese travel magazine "Transit".
It is somehow easy to forget about the history of the Roman Empire and the huge impact it had on our culture,
but after more than 2000 years Rome it's still there to remind us what a force to be reckon the Roman Empire once was
and where we, Italians, are coming from.
